This is a good day to take control of your breath.  By practicing diaphragmatic breathing, you will gain greater control over your breath. During times of extreme short of breath, you will have more control over the length and severity of each episode. When you are exercising, getting into the habit of exhaling upon exertion, and inhaling upon rest means you will be able to go further and do more without losing your breath.
